2. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following activities. Any violation constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, civil liability, and/or criminal prosecution:

2.1 Unauthorized Access & Hacking

  • Intentionally degrading, disrupting, or interfering with the performance or availability of the Service for any user.

2.5 API & Rate Limit Abuse

  • Making excessive API calls that exceed reasonable usage patterns for a single user.
  • Circumventing rate limits, throttling mechanisms, or access controls.
  • Sharing API access, authentication tokens, or session cookies with third parties.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials (email, password, session tokens).
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • Ensuring your device and browser are secure and free from malware.
  • Promptly notifying us at security@helios-finance.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Enforcement & Consequences

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms. Actions may include:

  • Warning — For minor or first-time violations.

6. Intellectual Property

7. Monitoring & Logging

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns, API calls, and system activity to detect abuse, enforce these Terms, and maintain the security and integrity of the Service. Logged data may include:

  • IP addresses and geolocation data.
  • API request frequency and patterns.
  • Authentication events (logins, logouts, failed attempts).
  • User-agent strings and device information.

This monitoring data is used solely for security and operational purposes and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Responsible Disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability in the Service, we request that you report it responsibly to security@helios-finance.com rather than exploiting it. We commit to:

  • Acknowledging your report within 48 hours.
  • Working in good faith to resolve the issue promptly.
  • Not pursuing legal action against individuals who report vulnerabilities in good faith and comply with responsible disclosure principles.

9. Changes to Terms of Use

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
